How to Set Up Your First Protected Interview in Under 5 Minutes

You can have your first protected interview scheduled in about five minutes. Here's how the whole thing works.

What You'll Need

Three things: an InterviewGuard account, your candidate's email, and a meeting link from whatever platform you use—Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, or any meeting platform with invite/join links.

Create Your Account

Go to app.interviewguard.io and sign up with your work email. Name your organization, add a payment method for after your trial, and you're in.

Schedule the Interview

Hit "New Interview" from your dashboard. Add the candidate's name and email, pick a date and time, paste your meeting link. Done.

The candidate gets an email with setup instructions automatically.

The Candidate's Side

They get an email letting them know the interview will be monitored. They download our desktop app (Windows, macOS, or Linux), which takes maybe a minute to install.

When interview time comes, they open the app, click join, and the video call opens in their browser. The app runs in the background from there.

Your Side

You just join the video call like normal. No app on your end. You can watch for real-time alerts in your dashboard during the interview if you want, but most people just focus on the conversation and check the report after.

The Report

Once the interview wraps up, you'll have an integrity report waiting in your dashboard. It shows an overall score, a timeline of anything that got flagged, and explanations of what we detected and why it matters.
